By Car:

From the South:

If arriving from the South, you’ll approach the Wilton Roundabout near Ross on Wye and head North up the A49 towards Hereford.

A short 5 minute journey by car will take you through the village of Bridstow, passing Bailey’s Home Store then into Peterstow, past the Yew Tree Pub and Peterstow Village Stores.

As you head out of Peterstow village, you’ll enter Winter’s Cross.

You’ll then see the Red Lion Pub where you should turn LEFT off the A49 down the lane towards Glewstone.

Head down the single track lane for 1 minute, then turn RIGHT at the small crossroads,

Field Cottage is the first house on the right. Open the gate and park either at the front (EV Charging Point available), or more parking is available at the back of the property.

From the North:

If arriving from the North, you’ll head South on the A49 from Hereford, through a number of villages on a 20 minute drive.

You’ll pass through Harewood End, then drive past Pengethley Farm Shop & Garden Centre, as you enter Winter’s Cross.

You’ll then see the Red Lion Pub where you should turn RIGHT off the A49 down the lane towards Glewstone.

Head down the single track lane for 1 minute, then turn RIGHT at the small crossroads,

By Bus

You’ll take the 33 bus from Hereford or Ross and alight at Winter’s Cross/Red Lion Pub

By Rail

The nearest railway station is Hereford. From here you can take a 33 bus to Ross (see above) or a cab ride of around 25-30 mins.
